Between a Rock and Hard Place

So, Sunday night, for the first time in my life, I went Bouldering.
For those of you who do not know what this extreme sport is, allow me to enlighten you.

Bouldering boils down to these basics premises:
A. Find a really REALLY big rock B. Put on some really REALLY tight rubber shoes C. Attempt to climb said rock without rope, harness, or helmet D. Cling to microscopic crevices in the rock with 1/2 an inch of your pinkie nail E. Pray to Almighty God himself you do not fall and break your neck, pelvis, femur or other body parts necessary to function in everyday life. F. Conquer the rock
Yea so, because I have just that much common sense, I decided it would be really super wicked awesome to go Bouldering. I never knew just how much strength resides in the little pinkie finger. Nor was I ever made quite so aware of my  new found fear of heights.
I tried to climb 2 different boulders before I was actually able to make my way up one. Granted, the first boulder they tried to have me climb involved…
